Due to their hugely popular and oversubscribed summer school, the management team are to launch their much awaited 'Winter School' in December of 2024.

Led by MD Paul Holland, the 'Elgar International Brass Band Winter School' (EIBBWS), will be supported by our team of tutors namely Mark Wilkinson (Cornets), Jonathan Bates (Horns & Flugels), Daniel Thomas (Euphoniums & Baritones), Christopher Thomas (Trombones), Les Neish (Basses) and Steve Jones (Percussion).

The course will be held at Bromsgrove School, Worcestershire and will commence on Monday 16th to Thursday 19th December 2024 inclusive. The course will have a 'festive' flavour but also offers the opportunity to rehearse and perform challenging works in addition to new compositions for brass band.

Course Director, Carole Crompton commented, "We are very excited to announce the latest addition to our 2024 Portfolio of Events and feel that the Elgar International Brass Band Winter School will bring a festive and challenging twist to our existing course offers. We were keen to work with Paul, as the delegate feedback that we received from his debut course in 2022 was very positive, so naturally, we are keen to work with him again".
