This page is setup for you to request an issue of The Bandsman in PDF which will be emailed to you. You can also submit a search request, the digital copies of the magazine are now searchable and results can be sent so you can decide which issues you want to purchase.

If you know the issue you want then fill in the form below and we will email you the payment instructions and then the PDF of that issue.

If you don't know the issue but you want a search done of a keyword then submit your search request and we will send you the result of that search so you can see which issue you want sent.

When sending a keyword search please make the keyword is as unique as possible, there is no point asking for a search for issues containing a word that is likely to appear in multiple issues, your results will not be very helpful.

An example: If you wanted to see issues where Abbey Brass and Rob Tompkins are mentioned, then submit Abbey Brass, Rob Tompkins, don't just request one of these keywords. Your keywords need to be as specific as possible.

Which issues are available to purchase?

Digital editions from issue 5503 (5th April 2008) to 5967 (Sept 2018) and 6021 (14th Nov 2019) to 6143 (9th June 2022) are available to purchase.

What is being searched?

The search is looking at the text content of all digital editions from issue 5503 (5th April 2008) to 5967 (Sept 2018) and 6021 (14th Nov 2019) to 6143 (9th June 2022)

How much does it cost?

For a one-off search we request a donation towards the cost of storing the physical archive

For multiple searches you will informed of the cost before the search is carried out

For a PDF of an issue the cost is £5 per issue requested

How long will it take?

We will aim to send you a purchased PDF issue within 5 working days of the request and the same for any search request sent.
