The Bandsman have been made aware by the committee of the L&SC of the Adjudicator appointments for the 2023 London and Southern Counties area contest which will be held at Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre over the weekend of the 18th and 19th March.

Anne Crookston, Sarah Groarke-Booth, Andrea Price, Adam Cooke, Howard J Evans and David Hirst, all members of the Association of Brass Band Adjudicators, are the team who will be responsible for judging the 75 or so bands we hope will be entering the contest next year. The sections to which they will be allocated will be released in due course.

L&SC Secretary Kevin Williams said 'The Committee is honoured that these eminent musicians have agreed to adjudicate for us next year. We welcome David and Sarah back to Stevenage once more, but for the remainder it will be their first visit to our Region and one we are sure they will enjoy. The panel offers us a wonderful mix of skills and experiences and we are thoroughly looking forward to working with them all next year.'
